Winning easily it is Lewis Hamilton, which now puts him in a league of his own concerning this track. He has won here five times which is one more than anybody else. Second went to Nico Rosberg and third to Daniel Ricciardo.
Hulkenberg came in 10th and Massa 18th, The drive of the day went to Kimi Raikkonen for going from 14th to 5th. The American team finished 13th and 14th.
HELIO CASTRONEVES, 2ND - WILL POWER, 1ST - JAMES HINCHCLIFFE, 3RD
Computers, how did we ever live without them. Every so often mine goes on the fritz which ties me up for a couple of days. A beautiful day in Toronto at one of my favorite tracks which this year seemed a little bumpy....the drivers complained and you could see it. Will Power won the race in a last lap shootout. Which now puts him in second place for the championship. Helio Castroneves came in second. You can pin a "happy" star on hometown boy, James Hinchcliffe, who came in third.
My personal favorites, Tony Kanaan came in 4th and Takumo Sato came in 5th. Ed Carpenter Racing ended at the bottom of the pile....20th and 21st.
After leading 94% of the time with newly repaired collar-bone and hand Josef Newgarden was the winner. He is also half of my favorite team. Followed by Will Power and Scott Dixon.
Kanaan came is seventh and Soto 11th. Ed Carpenter, the other half of my favorite team, did not finishh.
Single file, behind the safety car, in the 'wet' is how this race started. Certainly not my favorite way to start a race. Even the drivers questioned why they had to start that way. So, Lewis Hamilton wowed his home country crowd. Followed by Nico Rosberg and Max Verstappen, Even that wasn't to last, after the race Rosberg was given a 10 second penalty dropping him down to third.
Hulkenberg came in 7th and Massa 11th. The Haas team finished 16th and a retirement.
Can you believe it, they did it again, Hamilton and Rosberg hit each other again on the last lap. Leaving a leading Rosberg dropped down to 4th and Hamilton the winner. Max Verstappen and his merry band of orange men came in second and Kimi Raikkonen with a much needed third.
My favorites, Massa and Hulkenburg, both failed to finish. As for the Hamilton/Rosberg accident is just that in my book no matter what it looked like.
Looking like a repeat of yesterday's race, Nicolas Prost won again, back to back. Second went to Daniel Abt and third to Jerome d'Ambrosio. This is the last race of the season for Formula E after two years and I am finally getting used to it. The champion is Sebastian Buemi.
With the season for Formula E coming to an end, off kilter to other racing seasons, the final two races are set for London. Nicolas Prost was looking proud as he won. Followed by Bruno Senna and Jean-Eric Vergne.
