Street races and road courses are always my favorites over oval tracks. IndyCar had street and road courses for their first four races. This race seemed to lack something...too spread out for most of the race. It does have a good story though. Ryan Hunter-Reay was a driver in need of permanant seat somewhere. He hooked up with one of Michael Andretti's cars and won the race. A permanant seat in the making.

Second went to Justin Wilson and third to Will Power. Both seeming to be podium fixtures.

FORMULA ONE IN CHINA

2ND-LEWIS HAMILTON, 1ST-JENSEN BUTTON, 3RD-NICO ROSBERG

I was afraid that this would be a long drawn out race because it is one of the newer tracks. Instead it was hit with rain showers which always makes for a different race. There is only a handfull of these guys that are good in the rain.

Jensen Button has already won twice this year with his new team, McLaren. He led a good portion of the race. In the meantime his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, who made two extra pit stops worked his way up through the crowd to claim second place. Hamilton is one guy that can really drive in the rain and if the race had been much longer he probably would have won. I am thinking that McLaren is enjoying having two former world champions on their team.

Nico Rosberg, driving for Mercedes, came in third. He and Hamilton always enjoy sharing the podium together. In their training years the raced carts together as kids.
