ILL WIND IN FORMULA ONE

Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone who basicly run the enterprise known as Formula One do so with an iron fist. So much so that the big teams and the big name drivers, that go with them, want out. They want to form a racing series of their own, but it isn’t going to happen for 2010. Beyond that, who knows?

We have seen this happen in the States when the C.A.R.T. Racing series, after 20 some years, slowly transformed into the Champ Car series. Then Champ Car folded into the already running IndyCar series. Each time leaving drivers and teams scrambling for spots.

I do hate to see it happen with Formula One after a 60 year run. Actually longer if you take into account the Grand Prix’ leading up to the formation of Formula One.

As always it is a question of money, rules and how it fits into getting the golden pot.
