Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari held off a determined challenge from Sebastian’s Vettel’s Red Bull to win the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday 26 September 2010. But Mark Webber retained his lead in the drivers championship when good driving and tactics gave him third place in the other Red Bull, one ahead of Jenson Button in the McLaren. Lewis Hamilton didn’t finish for the second race in a row after going off late on when he tried to pass Webber.
Mark Webber leads the drivers championship by eleven points from Fernando Alonso, with just four races to go. Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Jenson Button are still in the hunt in what is turning into one of the tightest finishes ever in grand prix racing.
