FORMULA ONE IN AMERICA

WEBBER, 3RD - VETTEL, 1ST - GROSJEAN, 2ND

So Vettel breaks the record for most consecutive race wins in single season. Very hard to do. All he could see behind him was a string of cars playing catch up. In front of him only the checkered flag. Grosjean gets another podium finish, his sixth this year. Just think that last year he was in danger of being kicked out of Formula One for having/causing too many wrecks. The ever-popular Webber came in third for his 40th podium finish. Only one more race for him in Formula One before his moves on after 11 or 12 years in the series. I, for one, will be sorry to see him go.

The race itself was not as exciting as last year. The drivers love this track, but once it gets spread out it becomes boring. Still a very large crowd, but attendance was down 4,000 people a day. The time zone that I am currently in placed the race at 3:00 AM. I am not as young as I used to be and it was very hard on my system.

Next week is the last race of the Formula One season. Located in Brazil it is always a hard race.
