Spain, ho-hum, Spain. Hamilton, who was in need of a win, got so far out in front it was like he was in another race.On paper a win is a win. His teammate, Bottas, came in second. Max Verstappen, with parts falling off his car, came in third.
Nico Hulkenberg can't buy his way out of the first lap. Starting in seventh, as he has most of the season, he becomes the perfect target for the wayward mayhem that ensues on the first lap. Part of that mishap was the Haas Team's Roman Grosjean who was out of control and took out a couple of cars, including Hulkenberg. Haas' other car finished in a nice sixth place, but may have been the start of the accident with Grosjean. Unfortunately for Grosjean the incident reminded me of his multiple accidents when he was first starting in Formula One.
The best sight in the race was seeing Filipe Massa's smiling face as a spectator.
