A trip down memory lane here at Pocono with the first IndyCar race in 24 years. Not an oval and not a road course, it is more like a triangle with a curve at each angle. Scott Dixon was the winner, his 30th victory, and it was his first win this season. Charlie Kimball, who suffers from diabetes, came in second. Dario Franchitti was third.
The Chevrolet engine was the odds on favorite to win here, but all three of these guys were using the Honda. All three were teammates and it is the first time their owner, Chip Ganassi, with all his racing endevors ever had a 1-2-3.
Tony Kanaan ended up in 13th after a short stint in the lead and Takuma Sato ended up in 22nd after an accident forced him out.
