America loves it's hot rods. I never got into that scene because I always felt that the old cars should be restored to their former beauty. The hot rod scene is huge and has been for 60 years. The big cities have streets that are miles long and lend themselves to what is called cruising. Years ago it went on every weekend, but now is just done once a year on different streets. Woodward Avenue in Detroit was known worldwide and hosts a Dream Cruise in August with thousands of cars and people.
