Done right, done well, this Sunbeam is READY. The only deviation from stock is a 5 speed transmission added for your driving pleasure.
Harringtons are a limited production car. Harrington Limited did the coachwork on the Sunbeam Alpine and Hartwell did three levels of performance upgrades. This car has level 3 performance upgrade and it moves right along. The two dual choke Weber carburetors are well tuned and the engine has a distinct sound. The suspension is firm but has great ride quality. The interior has yards and yards of premium leather and the finest wood working we have seen. The 5 speed transmission makes this a great highway car. The sheetmetal is very very straight and the paintwork is perfection.

FORMULA ONE IN CHINA
ALONSO, 2ND - HORNER FROM RED BULL - VETTEL, 1ST - RAIKKONEN, 3RD
Singapore it is! Going into the first turn Vettel was in second place and came out of it in first. Again, never to look back and won by a full 32.6 seconds which is huge. The guy can really drive, but a lot of people are getting tired of it. He is young and could go on doing this for many years.
Fernando Alonso, who kept himself in the title chase by going from his 7th place start to second. He said that he felt like a winner probably because the winning car was nowhere in sight.
Kimi Raikkonen, now here is a real trooper, almost dropped out because of a pinched nerve in his back, started in 13th and ended up in third.
Mark Webber, still my favorite, was in 4th on the last lap, but his transmission gave out and he didn't finish. He got a ride on Alonso's car which has been done several times over the years. The race stewards weren't pleased and both he and Alonso got a reprimand. Because it was Mark's third reprimand he also got a 10 place penalty for the next race. This is probably not the safest thing to do, the fans loved it. Formula One stewards are always way too uptight. Since this is Webbers last season in Formula One he probably doesn't give two hoots.

This replica uses a 350 Chevy V8 engine with 325hp. Uses Edelbrock 650 CFM Carburetor and all Corvette suspension. Also includes a high performance monoleaf rear suspension.
A brand new Corvette chasis from 1982 was used and shortend 3 inches. Hand layered fiberglass body fitted onto a reinforced steel jig frame. This particular unit had a "body-off" restoration in 2009! FORMULA ONE IN ITALY
Sebastien Vettel had no problem staying out in front of the pack.....what pack, it looked like single file to me. He is heading for the championship.
Fernando Alonso, who is very popular in Italy because he drives for Ferrari, came in second. That keeps him in second place for the championship points.
Mark Webber struggled a little here and there, but was able to pull off third place.
I am sure the Italians were happy with Felipi Massa, also driving for Ferrari, came in 4th.

1955 BMW R25
This beautifully restored 1955 BMW motorcycle was restored and owned by a
local Southern California Fire Department and has come up for sale.
This motorcycle is a R25 model with a rare single cylinder engine (more
rare than the heavier 3 cylinder). The engine produces 13HP by means of
7:1 compression. The transmission is a 4 speed manual box that operates
correctly while utilizing a shaft drive to power the rear wheels. This
R25 weighs in at a paltry 330lbs making it easy to manuver and sporty to
ride. In stock form this bike has a top speed of 75 mph.

INDYCAR IN MARYLAND
Simon Pagenaud, winning his second race of the season, came in first. Closely followed by Josef Newgarden who expressed surprise at being second. Another good run for Simon Bourdais as he came in third.
Tony Kanaan, who was up in the top three for a while, had an accident on lap 73 just two from the end. Although retired he came in 15th.
Takuma Sato is still having massive mechanical problems. Made it to the 4th lap and then all done, finishing dead last at 24th.

BIFF, BANG, SNAP, CRUNCH, POW IN MICHIGAN
As a kid I used to love watching these Demolition Derby's at the local tracks (of which most are gone now), and I would probably still enjoy an afternoon or evening doing the same. For most cars, which come from the junkyards, it probably doesn't matter, but I spotted a 1957 Ford in this mix and that makes me sad. I am sure the body could have been used by a restorer for the beauty he is building at home.
