INDYCAR IN MARYLAND

While this has been on of my favorite street tracks the last couple of years this weekend it looked like a 'Dodge-Um' car event. Saturday's American Le Mans did the same wrecking six or eight cars before the race even started. Spins, crunches, traffic jams made it a hard day.

Simon Pagenaud, winning his second race of the season, came in first. Closely followed by Josef Newgarden who expressed surprise at being second. Another good run for Simon Bourdais as he came in third.

Tony Kanaan, who was up in the top three for a while, had an accident on lap 73 just two from the end. Although retired he came in 15th.

Takuma Sato is still having massive mechanical problems. Made it to the 4th lap and then all done, finishing dead last at 24th.
