A COUPLE FROM GENEVA

A couple of interesting items at the Geneva Motor Show:

Pininfarina Sintesi
The hydrogen economy has been 10 to 20 years away for 10 to 20 years now, but we're willing to wait if it means driving cars like Pininfarina's Sintesi. The Italian supercar designer's latest concept features a hydrogen fuel cell and 700 horsepower.

Morgan LifeCar
Talk about an anachronism -- a hydrogen-fueled car on a wooden frame. So what if Morgan's LifeCar only does 90 mph? That 1930s streamlined art deco aesthetic is hot.

Fisker Automotive Karma
Silicon Valley-backed upstart Fisker Automotive says it will be building the Karma, this smokin' hot $80,000 plug-in hybrid, by the end of next year. That seems wildly optimistic, but we're pulling for them.
