INDYCAR IN NEW YORK

WILL POWER

At my favorite track in America, Watkins Glenn, Will Power, for the third time this year, took a happy first place. The Penske team had been in the pole position for six years and never got a win here. They should all be happy, but I noticed an unusal performance by Roger Penske. During the hoop-la he walked in and interrupted an interview, gave Power an uncomfortable hug, turned and walked out. Another Penske teammate came in second. Ryan Briscoe, who seems to be stuck in second more than anybody, was able to pass Dario Franchitti on the last lap. Leaving Dario to pick up third.
