INDYCAR AT THE INDIANAPOLIS 500

I am always going to love the name of this driver...Will Power. He is the winner of the Indy 500. I personally favored the second place driver, Ed Carpenter, as the winner, but no matter who wins I am happy for them. Third place went to Scott Dixon.

Tony Kanaan finished 25th after an accident on lap 187. Takuma Sato finished 32nd after an accident on lap 47.

The Ed Carpenter Team finished in 2nd, 20th and 30th. That 30th position belong to Danica Patrick who did a 'swan dive' on her 'swan song' race. She is now in retirement from racing. I never understood her leaving Indycar for NASCAR, but she did and now it is funny that her last race is for Indycar. Ended after hitting the wall in lap 67. She never should have left Indycar.
