INDYCAR IN INDIANA

This race is run at the road course constructed at the 500 track for Formula One several years ago. Some drivers are suited to certain tracks and Will Power had the edge for this one. His win made it his third one here. No offense to Will Power, but if I was a betting man my money would have been on Robert Wickens.. I know he is a rookie (so called), but he has to win sometime and I had a feeling that today was going to be it. That.being said, I also was giving the nod to Will Power. Power's team, Team Penske, also had the historic run of 200 wins. Very nice! Second went to Scott Dixon who also has a good feel for this track. Robert Wickens came in third after leading for a total of 20 laps.

Takumo Sato struggled throughout the race, but ended up in 10th. Tony Kanaan also struggled and ended up in 14th. The Ed Carpenter Racing Team finished in 15th and 24th.

Helio Castroneves, who retired this year, sat in for this race I presume to give him a heads-up for the Indy 500 which he will be driving in. He finished in a solid 6th....nice job!

The next race will be in two weeks and it is the Indy 500 which always promises some excitement.
