INDYCAR IN OREGON

After 10 years or so away from this track the first lap looked more like Formula One, which rarely gets through the first lap, or maybe a series of Dodge-Em Cars. Parts all over the place, at least they made it to turn two. I am very happy with the outcome of this race as it went to Takuma Sato who is one of my favorite drivers. Chasing him down was Ryan Hunter-Reay who may have won if the race was much longer. Third place went to Sebastian Bordais who was the last person to win here 10 or 11 years ago.

Tony Kanaan came in 11th and he has been having a tough year. Let's hope that he can change that around next year if he is still driving....afterall he is 43. Robert Wickens is still on the mend and facing another round of surgery. The Ed Carpenter team had a very good weekend with places in 4th and 15th. In two weeks Indycar will be winding up its season. It seem earlier every year, but I guess it is really about the same.
