MICHIGAN PASSION

COBRA backbone frame, pioneered by Herb Adams, is key to the excellent ride and handling of this replica. This design not only makes the car structurally rigid, but it allows the driver and passenger to be seated 4 inches lower allowing them to see through the windshield, not over the top.

This frame can be provided in steel or aluminum to minimize weight. The car with the aluminum frame and 350 CID engine only weighs 2200 pounds.

The goal when the Contessa body was being developed was a very refined body shape featuring graceful lines remenicant of the classic sports cars of the 1960's. No radical aerodynamic devices or edgy lines, just a sleek elegant yet muscular sculptured body shape sure to turn heads.
