Now we have the season start of Formula One minus the Grid Girls. What is the world coming to. I hope that it is a good season which kind of picked up where it left off last year. With Sebastian Vettel in first, his 100th podium, followed by Lewis Hamilton, five seconds later, in second. Kimi Raikkonen, who was one more second down the road, finished in third. Deep down I was kind of hoping that Raikkonen would win since this might be his last year. I think the Ferrari only gave him a one year contract and he will be 39 by season's end.
Still liking Nico Hulkenberg who finished in 7th place. The Haas Team lost both cars and finished in 16th and 17th. Too bad because Grosjean was having a great race until that point. The field has 20% new drivers, we will see how they shake out. Fernando Alonso, who has had a tough couple of years, had a great drive ending in 5th.
What is the deal with the haircuts? Hamilton will have 3 or 4 different styles during the season and is now joined Vettel with an unusual haircut.
