INDYCAR IN ALABAMA........SECOND TRY

"Rain, rain, go away....come again some other day." 'Some other day,' it did. Yesterday the rain washed out any chance of completing the race. After leading for 73 of the 90 laps, Josef Newgarden was the winner. A long 9 seconds later second place went to Ryan Hunter-Reay, Third place went to James Hinchcliffe. Even with all the rain that they had yesterday it was raining again by the end of this race.

Takumo Sato, who is on the Letterman team this year, came in 8th. Tony Kanaan, who is driving for A.J. Foyt, came in 18th. Tony, who should be retiring, said during the race that due to a new child in his family he would like to drive until he is 50. I am sure that if a team owner would take him we could see him for many more years. The Ed Carpenter Team came in 14th and 15th.

I am still very impressed with rookie Robert Wickens. Today he collected a 4th place.
